Pier Farm is located on The Strand just a stones throw away from the main shopping strip in Williamstown and the restaurant strip around the corner.
Pier Farm is probably the premier restaurant in Williamstown. It is now our favourite restaurant in all of the western suburbs of Melbourne. It's been a while since we've been here as in it's previous life it was a bit underwhelming. It's so good now we would happily bring our friends along here knowing it's exceptional quality.
Pier Farm is housed in an old wooden structure which gives the place great character. The interior is nice and bright with wide windows letting all the natural sunlight flow in. Be careful where you sit though as some of the window locations may be a bit bright and sunny for some people.
The semi nautical theme is nice and the high ceilings, hanging plants and good dust maintenance means you should enjoy your surroundings. I mention dust maintenance as I can imagine keeping a place like this dust free a challenge and Pier Farm does a real good job.
Pier Farm offers a fine dining experience so you can enjoy great seafood here and well as an extensive winelist and a host of spirits. Pier Farm though wisely also have an extensive pizza menu so you can experience Pier Farm without breaking the break or if you want to come here more frequently.
The seafood at Pier Farm is definitely some of the better seafood you will experience in Melbourne. While some people may find the servings a bit small it's best to take in the greater dining experience and just treat yourself. The menu is modern contemporary and I'd definitely recommend trying the seafood.

In a nutshell
Pier Farm is an exceptional restaurant with great service, a beautiful venue with great views and lots of natural sunlight, fantastic food with a fine dining experience and a great selection of wines and spirits. It's a perfect place if you want to feel special and treat yourself. Highly recommended. We definitely look forward to coming to Pier Farm again.

Williamstown Restaurant and Cafe Reviews

Sebastian
Sebastian is a Basque inspired restaurant offering a wide range of pintxos, small and larger plate dishes aiming for a generally higher end customer. It's great that such a unique and different type of restaurant is willing to open up in Williamstown. Maybe I'm not the target audience but it seems a bit too expensive for the quality. Still we recommend trying at least once if you live locally and if you live further afield read plenty of reviews and decide for yourself if you think it's your cup of tea.

The Strand
The Strand is a nice attractive looking restaurant offering a finedining experience. It has a particular emphasis on seafood fitting for the Williamstown location. I would say the Strand offers an outstanding menu to select from. The Strand is a pretty restaurant and the food is generally good but does vary in consistency. For most up to date recommendations I suggest checking as many recent reviews as possible and then deciding if The Strand is for you.

Tick Tok Café
Tick Tok may not appear to be the most trendy cafe going around. However a charming environment, a busy atmosphere giving the place a positive vibe, a family atmosphere and great food quality and customer service make Tick Tok an easy cafe to recommend.

Monzarella Italian Restaurant
Monzarella Italian Restaurant is one of longer lasting restaurants in Williamstown. This is a testament to Monzarella Italian Restaurant delivering on their promise of good honest food and a providing a nice dining experience. While Monzarella Italian Restaurant isn't really special in any particular way I think it's value proposition has helped it stand the test of time. Great for locals, regular visitors to Willaimstown and value hunters. If you are looking for a very special experience then Monzarella Italian Restaurant may not be for you but for others it may be a perfect match.
