Cobaw Ridge Winery, a gem in the Macedon Ranges, is the creation of Alan and Nelly Cooper, dedicated vignerons who craft premium cool climate wines. Their commitment shines through in their certified organic and biodynamic practices.
The winery's journey began in 1985 when the first vines were planted in granitic sandy soil, nestled in a natural amphitheater at an elevation of 610 meters above sea level. This pristine location in the Macedon Ranges is ideal for their vineyard.
Proudly 100% estate grown, made, and bottled, their offerings include Chardonnay, Rosé, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Lagrein. Every step of the process is meticulously managed to enhance and maintain the integrity of the vineyard's unique terroir. The result is wines of distinct character and style, embodying full flavors that vividly showcase the vineyard's special qualities.

Note: We have not personally had a wine-tasting at Cobaw Ridge Winery although we have visited so this is a directory post only.
However if you support the sustainable practices and management of Cobaw Ridge Winery who are both certified organic (2009) and certified biodynamic (2011) then Cobaw Ridge maybe worth supporting if you take a fancy to any of their wines.
