Kawarren Market is a lovely community market that has stalls selling new and second hand goods, lollies, sweets, cakes, craft and lots more.
Depending on the individual market you attend you may time it for when a number of the locals have cleared out their home for the car boot sale. Search for that diamond in the rough. You never know what you might find!
Vendors do come and go but when we most recently visited there was anything from wire products, jams and preserves, muffins, cakes, soap, giftcards, clothes, knitted products, lollies.
Outdoor play area: The Kawarren Market has a great outdoor play area for kids. If you visit the market when the sun is shining you can relax with a coffee and some food, have a mental break while the kids enjoy the playground.
The simple life: Part of visiting local and country markets is to unwind and relax. If you arre able and especially if vendors have something you like is also feels great to support the local community and economy. It's also quite enjoyable having a chat with the locals while you are here.
On-site Food and drink: There is a real community feel at this market and you will be able to get some nice local hot food and beverages while you are here. While mot an extensive menu the food we had was very enjoyable and didn't break the bank so we were more than satisfied.

The Kawarren Market is open every 4th Sunday weather permitting from 9AM-2PM.

The Kawarren Market is located at 2 Kawarren East Road, Kawarren.
From Colac: It's only 16 minutes drive to the Kawarren Market from Colac.
From Lorne: It's only 58 minutes drive to the Kawarren Market from Lorne.
