Forest Creek Track: Our recommendation is to take the Forest Creek Track that will take you to Expedition Pass with a lovely reservoir at the end and a great picnic spot.

Starting from the Garfield Water Wheel, the trail meanders through a mix of open spaces and dense bushland. While not outstanding there are a few photographic opportunities along the way.

The walk is pleasant enough and one of the best things is that it is easy to follow. For a gold mining area the walk is surprisingly lush compared to some very dry areas that you can encounter.
