Lyons Will Estate, nestled in the cool climate of the Macedon Ranges, was founded in 1996. Initially planting Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the estate has since expanded to encompass Gamay and Riesling varieties, bringing the total vineyard area to just shy of five hectares.

Background: Lyons Will Estate is a family-run venture is distinguished by its hands-on, family-owned methodology where Oliver and Renata collaborate closely to create their wines. Their approach is hands-on, focusing heavily on sustainable practices and classic winemaking methods. Their guiding principle is straightforward: 'look after the vines and the vines will look after the wine'.

This philosophy in combination with a minimalist approach to winemaking, with every vine being meticulously pruned, groomed, and picked by hand to guarantee the highest quality from the initial bud to the final bottle yields wines that are not only honest and well-balanced in acidity but also feature a clean, straightforward finish.

Award Winning Cellar Door Experience: Lyons Will Estate cellar door stands as a not so secret treasure within the Macedon Ranges. Situated along the edge of the Cobaw State Forest, Lyons Will Estate cellar door offers expansive 180-degree views of the estate, with Pinot Noir vines enveloping the surroundings.

To enhance your visit, local charcuterie and cheese platters are available, to perfectly complement your cellar door experience.

Lyons Will Estate is located at 60 Whalans Track, Lancefield, Victoria 3435 approximately 1:15 minutes from Melbourne CBD.

From Macedon: If you are already at Mt Macedon then Lyons Will Estate Winery is approximately 31 minutes drive away.

From Kyneton: If you are already in Kyneton then Lyons Will Estate Winery is approximately 30 minutes drive away.

When

Lyons Will Estate cellar door is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11AM - 5PM. Tasting platters are available from 11AM - 4PM.
