The Romsey Market Macedon Ranges is held at the Romsey Skate Park alongside the main road into Romsey so you can't miss it. This is a beautiful market in Spring and Autumn and assuming the weather delivers has one of the best atmospheres of any market in Victoria.
The Romsey Market is relatively small in scale so if you are travelling here especially to visit the market it is best to plan out your trip with some other activities to make the best of your travel journey.
Romsey Market has a great selection of local produce and artisan vendors. Of course vendors do come and go but you can expect anything from cured meats, bric-a-brac, clothes, flowers and plants, foodtrucks, alcoholic beverages and spirits, preserves, garlic, vinegar and more.
A great thing about Romsey Market is that it is really community driven. You can tell the locals really get out and about to support the market and you feel like you are contributing to the community by supporting any of the local vendors you may purchase from.
It is so nice walking under the trees that line Romsey Skate Park, just chilling out, taking in the vibe, enjoying the live music and just seeing all the people enjoying themselves. It is a great family setting and the punters really do range from young families with children, older folk and everything in between.
Manage your expecations: While the location is great and quite beautiful depending on the season Romsey is quite a small country town so the market size reflects this. It's a great market but won't necessarilty take that long to walk around all the stall holders.
Also, it's also an outdoor market so try and plan your trip for when the sun is shining.

The Romsey Market is a lovely little market in country Victoria. With its lovely location at Romsey Skate Park is perfect for a picnic and enjoying the live music, great variety of market stalls (a few more would be nice), family friendly with fantastic atmosphere and real community feel. Highly recommended (when the weather obliges) but please keep your expectations in check as this is still quite a small market.
