The market features local arts and crafts, fresh food and bric-a-brac and is held at Logan Reserve. Although vendors come and go you are likely to find anything from plants, clothes, honey, nuts, ear-rings, fresh fruit and veges and more. We happily bought some organic honey when we were there. Logan Reserve makes for a nice setting and of course the Altona Beach waterfront is only a stones throw away.
This is a lovely market and quite low key. I guess being on a weekday means it truly is a market for locals and that means retirees, parents with children and I guess working from home workers in this post covid era. I like how understated Altona Beach Market is with less commercialisation than lots of other markets.
Altona Beach Market is directly across from Altona Pier and Altona Beach where you will find showers if required and of course go for a swim!
