The Stanley Park Falls are waterfalls a contained within Stanley Park (15 Salisbury Road, Mount Macedon. With Barbeque facilities, picnic tables and toilets its a great family spot.
The Stanley Park Falls is not a waterfall I would specially pick out to visit in its own right. It is pretty tiny. However if you are already going to Mt Macedon then it makes a lot of sense to visit as you are already there.
There is a wooden viewing platform that overlooks the top of the Stanley Park falls. However for a better view I suggest taking the stone path that leads to some stairs down to the fern gully. You'll be able to get a much better photograph from down here.
As a spectacle the Stanley Park Falls is only for the completist. However if you want to have a picnic and can take advantage of the bbq area, playground and toilet facilties then this is a great spot. As a small addition to your trip to Mt Macedon Stanley Park makes a lot of sense.
