Menu: The Courthouse Hotel menu features a wide variety of reasonably priced dishes to suit every palate, including special menus for kids and seniors. They also offer a selection of vegetarian and gluten-free options, as well as a complete vegan menu.
Offering a modern pub menu there are a range of different parmas, burgers and pasta as well as a more specialised menu with an extensive range of mains ranging from chicken kiev, chicken madras, mongolian beef, pork belly, garlic prawns, chicken roulade, crispy skin salmon, Courthouse paella and more.
As you can see many classics but also great variety.
We ordered a meat lovers parma and the garlic prawns. We asked to swap the chips on our parma to one of the vege options and they were happy to oblige so if you love your fries don't be alarmed from the parma photograph!
The meals were all of great quality and generous portions. Again the photo's don't express how full we were from our dishes but rest assured we were definitely full and more than happy with our choices.
I am a sucker for garlic prawns and appreciate that this was in a creamy white wine sauce rather than a napoli or tomato based sauce. Yes, less healthy but a lot richer flavour and enjoyable in my book.

The Courthouse Hotel is great pub / restaurant in Bacchus Marsh. It's kinda like the last one standing in Bacchus Marsh but also happens to provide a bustling and busy atmosphere, a great selection of food and impressive customer service for a place so busy.
While not really distinctive in any particular way the Courthouse Hotel is easy to recommend and based on its patronage the locals love it too.
