Merchants of Malmsbury is a surprisingly interesting delight. A cafe, 2nd hand shop, gift and toy shop, outdoor garden, & photographic gallery all in one. We love it!

As soon as you open the door to Merchants Of Malmsbury you are welcomed to a busy, cosy, eclectic and fun space.

Eccentricity and charm: Merchants of Malmsbury gets our tick of approval for eccentricity and effort. It's definitely not overboard with its eclectism but you can tell this is a personal shop and showcases some of the personality of owner Len Johnston, who also happens to be a great balck and white photographer.

Photographic Gallery: Len Johnston showcases some of his black and white photography in both the main shopping area and one additional room. Len is well travelled so you can view the world vicariously through his artworks while you are here.

If something really takes your fancy his prints are available for purchase.

Coins of the world: We really loved his till adorned with corns from around the world that express his personality and love of travel. This personal touch is what really makes Merchants of Malmsbury stand out from many mainstream shops.

Cafe Time: Merchants of Malmsbury is very cosy but this adds to its personality. The food here is on the simple side but there is nothing wrong with that. We enjoy its down to earth character.

In the country its always nice to have the all time classic devonshire tea.

It's Shopping Stupid: We love the old school toys but really there is a wide range of assorted everything at the Merchants of Malmsbury. Scraves, socks, 2nd hand books and vinyl, toys and games and more.

There's also beanies, CD's, assorted homeware, giftcards, ceramics, windchimes, knives. Yes, Len has managed to pack in quite the selection.

At the rear of the cafe you can go outside and enjoy the outdoor garden. It's a bit unkempt but I guess you could say that adds to its charm.

Location
From Malmsbury town Centre: Merchants of Malmsbury is approximately 1 minute drive from Malmsbury Town Centre located at 67 Mollison St, Malmsbury VIC 3446.
In A Nutshell
Overall, the Merchants of Malmsbury is a really treasure if you like this kind of store. Malmsbury town centre is so small that the Merchants of Malmsbury is a MUST visit.
