The Swiss Mountain Hotel and Store interior, with its old-fashioned décor, sets the stage for a dining experience that's both personal and genuine. Overall the interior is a mix of old and new. I don't know if it makes for a totally unified look but i do appreciate its nod to history and for that it does score some brownie points.

The Swiss Mountain Hotel garners acclaim for its exceptional culinary creations, which highlight the bounty of local produce. While the menu is selectively composed, it is carefully crafted to appeal to a wide range of preferences. Offerings such as crispy popcorn chicken with zesty aioli and robust beer-battered shark showcase the kitchen's commitment to delivering dishes that are rich in both quality and taste.

I wouldn't say that the menu is the most innovative but it does seem to cater for the classic pub diner and in that sense the menu is perfect. Pub classics dot the menu and the fish and chips is certainly a crowd pleaser (not pictured but very popular).

A big selling point of the menu is their range of cocktails. If this is your kind of thing then Swiss Mountain Hotel and Store could be a perfect lunch or dining spot for you.

The Swiss Mountain Hotel and Store is in a seemingly unlikely spot and would be easy to drive right on past if you weren't planning on going there for lunch or dinner. It still continues to honour its traditional pub role with a classic pool table in the bar area.
