We had a fantastic chat to Geoff one of the co-owners of Paramoor Winery. Geoff was so generous with his time and we laud him and his partners for taking on the challenge of taking over Paramoor Winery.
Paramoor Winery specializes in producing wines that reflect the terroir of the region, with a focus on creating varietals that thrive in Kyneton's cool climate. Their range includes exquisite examples of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, alongside other varietals that capture the essence of the area. Each wine is a testament to the meticulous care and attention to detail that goes into its production, from vineyard to bottle.
We personally bought some of Paramoor Winery Riesling and I was suitably surprised how nice the reds were including the Pinot Noir.

TIP: If you are driving from the western suburbs of Melbourne and contemplating a wine trail excursion around Kyneton then we recommend popping into Paramoor Winery as one of your first destinations.
First, it's on the way to Kyneton so you don't have to backtrack to get here.
Secondly, it opens at 11AM which is kinda handy as quite a few wineries only open from 12PM. You may as well make the most of your wine trail experience!
TIP 2: Plan your visit to co-incide with one of Paramoor Winery events and enjoy the wood-fired pizza as well!.

Paramoor Winery is located at 439 Three Chain Rd, Carlsruhe VIC 3442 about 1:30 from Melbourne CBD if you take toll roads and 1:45 toll free.
If you are already in Kyneton then it's only an 11 minute drive from the town centre.
