The Radio Springs Hotel in Lyonville, Victoria, is an unusual and relatively unknown country pub near Trentham that offers a perfect blend of country charm, character, and comfort. The hotel’s quirky and eclectic ambiance immediately sets it apart from more traditional country pubs to something a lot more distinctive.
And for us we love something a bit different.

The unique decor, filled with vintage radios, retro furnishings, and curiosities, gives the place a warm, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. It’s a venue that combines old world charm, artistic flair and eclecticness. We love it!

One of the highlights of the Radio Springs Hotel is its food. The menu is filled with delicious, hearty meals that showcase local produce and ingredients, making each dish fresh and flavorful.

Please be aware though that due to the economic times we live in and difficulty getting hospitality staff in general that the menu at Radio Springs Hotel seemingly constantly changes.
This is no slight on Radio Springs Hotel and we have been here multiple times. It just means that if you did find a favourite last time there is no guarantee it will be there the next time you visit.

Personally we like surprises and don't mind the menu changing but for others it might be a bit annoying. Whatever the case if in doubt just check there most recent menu on their website.

There’s a strong focus on supporting local breweries and wineries, which adds to the hotel’s community feel and makes each visit a chance to discover new regional favorites.

Live music is another draw at the Radio Springs Hotel, with regular performances that add to the already lively atmosphere. The hotel has a cozy performance space where local and visiting musicians entertain guests with everything from folk and blues to rock and jazz.

One of the most charming features of the Radio Springs Hotel is its garden area. The outdoor space is beautifully landscaped, with plenty of seating options and an inviting, laid-back atmosphere. It’s the ideal place to enjoy a meal or drink on a sunny day, with the tranquil surroundings adding to the overall experience.

For those looking to stay overnight, the Radio Springs Hotel offers comfortable, character-filled accommodation. The rooms, much like the rest of the hotel, are full of charm, with vintage touches that make them feel cozy and unique.

Halfway heaven: We personally use the Radio Springs as our halfway pitstop on our walk on the Domino Rail Trail starting at the Trentham Historic Railway. This is a great sheltered walk from the sun and nice and flat for those with average knees. Anyway, knowing we will have a nice break at the Radio Springs Hotel makes the walk that bit more enjoyable.

Character: The distinctive and character filled decor makes a visit to Radio Springs Hotel very memorable. If you were really into it you could organise an event with your friends and dress up accordingly. Anyway, we love being transported back in time.

There are lots of touches and effort put into the feel of Radio Springs Hotel. We've been here many times so they must be doing spomething right!
