Melton Gold Cup (Speed boat racing) at Melbourne Runabout and Speedboat Club is some of fastest circuit boat racing in Australia. at the Hobsons Bay Men's Shed, 280 Queen St Altona, gates open 8.30am close 3pm.
Visitors are welcome, especially owners of classic vehicles or motorbikes to display and join in with Car Torque members and have a yarn.
BBQ and egg and bacon rolls, tea, coffee, water and soft drinks available.
Bring the family and the dog, enjoy the day, see some great vehicles. Shed tours are available - just ask politely!

The Altona Homestead is located at at 128 Queen Street, Altona, overlooking Logan Reserve and very close to the Altona foreshore and pier. The homestead is a unique and treasured part of Altona’s heritage.

The Altona Homestead has slightly unusual opening days and times of Tuesday – 11am to 2pm, Saturday – 10am to 12pm and the first Sunday of the month – 10.30am to 2.30pm. Devonshire tea is available on the first Sunday of the month with bookings essential.
