Small town BIG market: Incredibly the Lancefield & District Farmers Market probably has about ten times the quantity of markets stalls in the market than Lancefield actually has in the town itself.
Operated by the Lancefield Neighbourhood House, the market strives to offer a wonderful shopping experience - be sure to bring your bags, baskets, and trolleys.
Live Entertainment: Adding to the vibrancy of the Lancefield and District Farmers Market is some live entertainment. We were fortunate to experience a fantastic performance by The Skerricks with songs such as "Message in a bottle" originally by The Police and "If I could Talk I'd Tell You" originally by The Lemonheads. Very happy!
Saving the world one dish at a time: All credit to those who take up the challenge and wash their dishes after their chowdown.

The Market runs on the 4th Saturday of every month, except December when it is the third Saturday from 9AM - 1PM.

The market is held at Centre Plantation, High Street, Lancefield, a 1 hour six minute drive from Flinders Street Station.
From Lancefield town centre: The market is a short 2 minute drive from Lancefield town centre.
