The walk starts from the Sheoak Falls car park beside the Great Ocean Road, a short drive west of Lorne. From the coast the track heads inland through the Otways towards Sheoak Creek and the falls. Expect steps, uneven bush track and sections that can become slippery after rain, so proper walking shoes are a much better choice than casual footwear.

Getting there
Sheoak Falls is beside the Great Ocean Road west of Lorne in Great Otway National Park. Use the signed Sheoak Falls car park as your starting point. Take care entering and leaving the Great Ocean Road and check current road and park conditions before travelling.
The free car park located just off the Great Ocean Road is only about about a 10-minute drive south of Lorne making the walk very accessible.

The walk can be enjoyed year round, but winter and spring are usually better for waterfall flow. After rain the track can be wet and slippery. Check weather, fire danger and Parks Victoria park alerts before visiting.
