Anakie Fairy Park, located in Victoria, Australia, has been a beloved destination for families and children for many years. It provides a whimsical journey into the world of fairy tales, myths, and legends. A perfect day trip to keep the kids entertained and bring out the inner child in you.
The Anakie Fairy Park is a sprawling and large complex perfect for wandering around and keeping the little ones entertained. The park features more than 20 animated scenes, bringing to life classic tales like "Cinderella," and "Goldilocks and the Three Bears." Each display is thoughtfully crafted with detailed figures and settings.
The kids will not know what to expect next and the adults can re-live some of their favourite fairy tales from the olde' days! Look out for "Jack and the Beanstalk"!
A major attraction, especially for children, this medieval-themed playground is expansive. It includes towers, slides, swings, and mazes, all designed with a touch of the fairy tale theme. Kids can feel like they're in King Arthur's court as they play and explore.
Throughout the park, there are push-button audio boxes that narrate the tales associated with each scene. It's not just a visual experience but an auditory one as well, making the stories come alive for visitors.
Situated atop this natural formation, Fairy Park provides panoramic views of the Anakie countryside. It's a visual treat and a nice spot to take a break and soak in the natural beauty.
One of Fairy Park's most charming features is its series of dioramas and scenes depicting various fairy tales and legends. From Cinderella's castle to Sinbad's adventures, each display is crafted with care and attention to detail. As you navigate the winding paths, you're treated to vivid, life-sized figures, enchanting audio narrations, and settings that ignite the imagination.
The park also boasts a delightful display of model trains, which can captivate both young and old visitors with their intricate designs and movements.
For train buffs there is also a display of miniature trains showcased in pristine condition befitting the worksmanship and engineering design at the beginning of the rail revolution.
