Wyndham Harbour Craft Market

The Wyndham Harbour Craft Market returns Sunday 24 March 2024. One of our favourite markets so don't miss out!

Wyndham Harbour Craft Market
Image: West Melbourne and Beyond.

The Wyndham Harbour Craft Market is held at Wydham Harbour (50 Quay Boulevard, Werribee South VIC 3030). As long as the weather obliges this is a stunning venue for the market. The Wyndham Harbour Craft Market really makes Wyndham Harbour come to life and for its very first market it was super well attended. Give a hand to the marketers who spread the word.

Wyndham Harbour Craft Market
Image: West Melbourne and Beyond. Wyndham Harbour.

Is the Wyndham Harbour Craft Market really a local community market? Good question as in reality the Wyndham Harbour is sparsely populated. However with Werribee itself only 12 minutes drive away and Point Cook also very close it could be argued to be a local market. Wherever the truth lies doesn't really matter as the place was bustling and buzzing.

Wyndham Harbour Craft Market
Image: West Melbourne and Beyond. Coming out to play.

A number of stalls was impressive and keep in mind that this is a 'craft' market not a farmers market so don't expect to be buying your weeks supply of veges here. As is standard in most craft markets you'll find items for sale such as candles, clothes, plants, giftcards, ear-rings, crafts, soft toys, pet products, cosmetics, homeware and lots more.

Wyndham Harbour Craft Market
Image: West Melbourne and Beyond. Great place for the kids.

Of course if the market becomes a regular fixture there will be repeat vendors but as per most markets vendors do come and go so if you like a particular stall support the vendor so they do come again.

Wyndham Harbour Craft Market Plant shop
Image: West Melbourne and Beyond. Plants.

There are a number of food trucks to cater for hungry punters (and their kids!) a fixed cafe in the market area as well as the local Wyndham Harbour cafe and fish and chip shop. Although vendors do come and go at least in the inaugural market there was a hotdog and frankfurter joint, the ubiquitous potato twister shop, gelato and ice creamery, gluten free donuts, gozleme shop and a calamari fast food shop. Perhaps not your typical selection but still a reasonable variety.

Wyndham Harbour Craft Market

Who knows what the future may hold but perhaps a performer providing some live music might be a nice addition.

Location

The Wyndham Harbour Craft Market is located at Wyndham Harbour (50 Quay Boulevard, Werribee South VIC 3030) that is 12 minutes drive from Werribee town centre.

When

The Wyndham Harbour Craft Market returns 28 January 2024. When the market is on the hours are from 9AM-2PM.

This is a FREE community event.

In A Nutshell

The Wyndham Harbour Craft Market is a lovely seaside market. Especially if the weather comes to play this is a fantastic craft market. It has a host of distinctive stalls with many unique to this market, a beautiful coastal and sea backdrop, a great buzz and vibe and being by the sea has a unique and picturesque setting that brightens the soul. Highly recommended.
