At Shades Of Gray Gallery in Castlemaine enjoy a one of a kind experience showcasing handcrafted artworks. Expect a magical and immersive experience where Alice in Wonderland comes to mind.

Over two decades ago, artists Chelly and Peter Gray discovered a roll of rusty wire on their country property and began transforming it into art.

Drawing on their ceramics background, they crafted pieces that are both functional and uniquely original. Their creations range from candelabras and bowls to larger works like beds, mirrors, fire screens, sculptures, and garden art.

Artworks are thoughtfully displayed throughout the expansive, meticulously maintained gardens, surrounded by a stunning array of handcrafted flowers in every variety.

The indoor galleries house more unique art works. You'll find anything from bird houses and the butterflies, other insects and more.
