With only a handful of shops in the town itself the Malmsbury Farmers & Artist Market can be considered humungous. The number of stalls and vendors at the market is probably a magnitude of approximately 5 times how many actual shops there are in Malmsbury.

Village Green: The Village Green is such a lovely setting that really sets this market out from the crowd. As always with Victorian weather you can't be guaranteed perfect weather but when everything aligns this is such a perfect setting. We should add Malmsbury has got to be one of the greenest coloured places in all of western Victoria... and we like it!

All in all for a town the size of Malmsbury this markets delivers and outstanding experience. Definitely a great surprise and we all love surprises!!!

PAY ATTENTION: Malmsbury Village Farmers Market is has two locations. These are easy to find but could lead to confusion for a weekend traveller.

Transition between the two sites is weather dependent, so check their website or social media for the current location on the day.

Summer location: The summer market is held on the Village Green on Mollison Street, Malmsbury, VIC, Australia 3446, a 1 hour nine minute drive from Flinders Street Station.

Winter location: During the winter months you can find the market at the Malmsbury Cricket and Recreation Reserve on Ellesmere Place, a short 2 minute drive from Malmsbury town centre.
