The Sculpture Park is set against the backdrop of lush greenery and well-maintained gardens along one side of the Barongarook Creek, providing a tranquil environment that enhances the experience of viewing the artworks.

The layout of the park is thoughtfully designed, with sculptures strategically placed to complement the natural surroundings. As you stroll through the park, you'll find yourself immersed in a harmonious blend of art and nature.

From our point of view most of the sculptures seem somewhat utilitarian and quite bare. You can imagine cold war times, North Korean or even Soviet austerity.

Beauty of course is in the eye of the beholder but the artworks do not scream contempory, amazing, beautiful or must see. However, for a once of visitor the sculpture park may be worth your while and if the start at the Barongarook Creek Path makes a great beginning point for a walk along the creek to Lake Colac.
