The Pearly Shells
For over a decade and a half, The Pearly Shells have established themselves as a leading Jazz, Swing, and RnB ensemble in Melbourne. Their distinctive style and presence evoke the classic essence of the Golden Age, reminiscent of legends like Basie, Goodman, Ellington, and Brother Ray Charles.
Renowned for their captivating swing beats and the glimmering Hollywood-esque clam-shell stands, The Pearlys have become synonymous with creating enchanting soundtracks and compelling dance rhythms. Their performances span a variety of venues including bars, clubs, festivals, and dancehalls, not to mention numerous parties, receptions, and various other events.
James Henry
James Henry is a singer-songwriter, composer, and sound designer, celebrated for his innovative fusion of traditional Aboriginal and contemporary music genres. His artistic journey navigates a diverse range of musical terrains, from the pulsating rhythms of Techno to the grandeur of full orchestral compositions.
His extensive career includes significant contributions to numerous theatre and dance productions. James's compositions have graced the performances of prestigious groups such as the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Sydney Philharmonia Choir, and Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Recently, his fellowship has been dedicated to the revitalisation of First Nations languages through the medium of song.

TEK TEK Ensemble
TEK TEK Ensemble is renowned for their virtuosic and original music, drawing inspiration from the lushness of tropical jungles, the vibrancy of late-night discos, and the elegance of 1960s fashion.
They mesmerize audiences with their dynamic performances featuring bold trumpet sounds, indulgent violins and organ, deep, rhythmic drums and bass, along with wild psychedelic electric guitar and synthesizer. Their performances are further enriched with layers of harmonized singing. Since their formation in 2010, TEK TEK Ensemble has captivated audiences countless times, both in Australia and internationally.
Yusupha Ngum and the Affia Band
Yusupha Ngum, celebrated as one of Gambia's most beloved artists, spearheads the all-star ensemble, the Affia Band. Their performances are an Afro odyssey, seamlessly blending jazz, blues, and funk fusion, leaving audiences both elevated and captivated.
Their sound is a rich melting pot of Afro-centric flavors, seasoned with traditional influences, jazz, and funk. This eclectic blend is brought to life with world-class musicianship, creating an unforgettable auditory experience.
