The Greenery Cafe & Modern Vietnamese Restaurant Williamstown creates and serves Asian and Vietnamese fusion dishes as well as modern cafe classics.

As you walk to or past The Greenery it makes a definite impression as it just looks that bit different and stands out from the crowd. I have to admit this is what caught our attention so inevitably we had to make our way to The Greenery.

The Greenery is a bit of a looker as far as cafe and small restaurants go. It's not perfect and some things could be removed, eg, the till in the 2nd room and TV screen kind of detract from the overall efforts to make the cafe look special.
Despite this The Greenery still makes a positive impression decor wise and definitely does entice you to enter. Mission accomplished!

The Greenery also manages to have a reasonably nice outdoor area on the high street that can also be enclosed to help protect you from the elements. This has some nice French design elements and they do as best they can making the high street quite attractive.

The food has a modern touch and they try to show off a bit of flair as well to make things interesting. The menu is an interesting combination of western classic brnuch offerings mixed in with their own fusion Asian Vietnamese mix.

Personally I like this mix. You get everything from the clasic New York Reuben sandwich, BLT, Taco's, BLAT, fish sandwich bolognaise spaghetti, spicy prawn pasta, spaghetti carbonara, salt and pepper calamari, herbs and parmesan parma and more from the Western side of the menu.

While Asian inspired lunch dishes include as salt and pepper chicken ribs, chicken rendang, mixed veges and tofu, crispy ginger fish, chicken curry, chicken roti, beef roti, Vietnamese chicken salad, crumbed chicken salad, szechwan calamari salad, caesar salad, spring rolls, chicken satay skewers, fresh rice paper rolls, vermicelli noodles, banh xeo, pork belly.

Anyway, as you can see, the options are very very extensive.

Cakes and desserts: The Greenery also has an extensive range of cakes and desserts and if this is your kind of thing might be another reason to entice you into The Greenery.
And to top things off they also have quite the range of alcoholic beverages so if you enjoy your wine this could be another reason to visit The Greenery.
As far as food quality goes our experience was definitely positive without anything screaming amazing. We have nothing to complain about and would definitely visit The Greenery again.

Location
The Greenry: is located at 30 Ferguson St, Williamstown VIC 3016.
In A Nutshell
The Greenery is a great fusion Asian Vietnamese cafe that also has an extensive western menu as well as a great selection of cakes and desserts. With typically great coffee thrown in as well as an extensive alcoholic menu they have got you covered for your drinks. With it's nice Vietnamese and French themed decor The Greenery makes a positive impression.

Maybe not best of the best but definitely worth visiting. We would happily come back again that this is our seal of approval.

Williamstown Restaurant and Cafe Reviews

Sebastian
Sebastian is a Basque inspired restaurant offering a wide range of pintxos, small and larger plate dishes aiming for a generally higher end customer. It's great that such a unique and different type of restaurant is willing to open up in Williamstown. Maybe I'm not the target audience but it seems a bit too expensive for the quality. Still we recommend trying at least once if you live locally and if you live further afield read plenty of reviews and decide for yourself if you think it's your cup of tea.

The Strand
The Strand is a nice attractive looking restaurant offering a finedining experience. It has a particular emphasis on seafood fitting for the Williamstown location. I would say the Strand offers an outstanding menu to select from. The Strand is a pretty restaurant and the food is generally good but does vary in consistency. For most up to date recommendations I suggest checking as many recent reviews as possible and then deciding if The Strand is for you.

Tick Tok Café
Tick Tok may not appear to be the most trendy cafe going around. However a charming environment, a busy atmosphere giving the place a positive vibe, a family atmosphere and great food quality and customer service make Tick Tok an easy cafe to recommend.

Monzarella Italian Restaurant
Monzarella Italian Restaurant is one of longer lasting restaurants in Williamstown. This is a testament to Monzarella Italian Restaurant delivering on their promise of good honest food and a providing a nice dining experience. While Monzarella Italian Restaurant isn't really special in any particular way I think it's value proposition has helped it stand the test of time. Great for locals, regular visitors to Willaimstown and value hunters. If you are looking for a very special experience then Monzarella Italian Restaurant may not be for you but for others it may be a perfect match.
