Gami Chicken and Beer restaurant on Watton St in Werribee is one of the few Korean eateries out west. I know it's a chain store but you have to take what you can get. So does Gami Chicken and Beer deliver when Korean culture is at an all time high?
Gami Chicken and Beer has quite a trendy interior and they have really made an effort to have visual impact. The restaurant is a bit narrow from front to back but there is more space at the back end of the restaurant
Gami Chicken and Beer has quite an extensive menu. Everything ranging from the famous Korean fried chicken, bibimbap, japchae, seafood and kimchi pancakes, dumplings, bulgogi, corn cheese and a selection of burgers and more. They even have a select budget menu if you don't want to break the bank.
Overall I would the food quality at Gami Beer and Chicken is okay. Nothing really blew me away and there are better Korean options around if you are willing to drive further away. A great option is Mun Korean Kitchen in Williams Landing.
The Korean Fried Chicken at Gami Chicken and Beer was good but our favourite in a semi local location is still at Mun Korean Kitchen.
Probably the greatest thing about Gami Chicken and Beer is that it is a Korean restaurant. At least in the Werribee area there is less competition and if you crave some Korean food conveniece sometimes trumps everything. Definitely worth going to if you've never had Korean food before.

In a nutshell
Gami Chicken and Beer is workmanlike Korean food. It's great to have Korean fried chicken available locally and it sure beats making it yourself. Gami Chicken and Beer is nicely setup and has relatively unique decor inside however overall the food is average rather than exceptional. For a franchise business though everythings good.
Location
Gami Chicken and Beer is located at 90A Watton St, Werribee VIC 3030. Along Watton St this is an easy to find restaurant.

Werribee Restaurant and Cafe Review

Italian Sports Club of Werribee
The Italian Sports Club of Werribee is a favourite. Good value pub and Italian food you can enjoy time and time again without breaking the bank. Look out also for special events such a live music entertainment, comedians and more.

The Social Sutra
Social Sutra is an attractive looking cafe although perhaps is a bit generic. However its great and extensive menu, budget friendly pricing, alcoholic beverage selection and food quality make this a highly recommended cafe. The biggest letdown may be its lack of vibe if that is important to you.

Wolf On Watton
Wolf On Watton is a trendy and attractive looking cafe. The super-extensive alcoholic drinks selection plus the outside booths are what make Wolf on Watton unique. It's not our favourite cafe but never the less its still a great addition to the Watton high street.

Mama Mee
Mama Mee is one of our all time favourite restaurants in the outer west. It serves an all time great seafood curry laksa, has an extensive Malaysia and Chinese themed menu, includes some of the best decor and has generally some of the best service going round. Highly recommended if you live in Hoopers Crossing, Werribee, Wyndham Vale or Tarneit.

Sprinkles is a multi-coloured rainbow in a world of turmoil. Treat yourself to the delights of ice-creams, lollies, sweets and treats at Sprinkles and brighten up your day. Highly recommended.

Indo Eats
Indo Eats is a workmanlike Indonesian restaurant in Werribee. It fulfils its mandate for this kind of restaurant. They have a huge selection of food and drinks to choose from, have made an effort both with its interior and the presentation of their drinks and generally the food is pretty good without being exceptional.

Sushi Jiro
Sushi Jiro is an attractive looking Japanese diner and takeaway. It's a great place to enjoy with friends, select your favourites dishes and experience a sushi train experience in the outer western suburbs. I wouldn't say the food is exceptional but its definitely worth coming here purely for the sushi train and it looks kinda cool as well.

Mama Lor
Mama Lor is one of the best restaurants in Werribee. From great modern distinctive interior design, an extensive selection of unique and great tasting Filipino cuisine, to freshly baked cakes and breads and a great vibe as they continue to be one of the busiest restaurants in Werribee, Mama Lor is definitely recommended.

The Bridge Hotel
The Bridge Hotel is great for what it is. It has a large outside drinking area for those inclined (perrect for balmy nights and afternoons), very fair pricing and it provides exactly the experience you expect in the tradition of great Australian pubs.

Ghazal
Buffets are an acquired taste. Anyway, Ghazal is definitely worth it if you love buffets but for the rest of us Ghazal is probably pleasant enough without feeling overly special.

Little Growling Café
Little Growling Cafe may not appear to be the most trendy cafe going around. However the food is very well presented and looks special on the plate, the food tastes great, it's popular so there is a bit of a vibe (at least in the weekends) and it has a super duper playground for the kids. While really for locals if you live close enough, are looking for somewhere new to eat and have children this may be worth a look.
