The Italian Sports Club of Werribee is a cherished dining destination in Werribee, offering a fantastic blend of Italian and modern Australian pub cuisine. Its extensive à la carte menu caters to a wide array of palates, ensuring every guest finds a dish to delight in.

The Italian Sports Club of Werribee has a warm and inviting atmosphere, complemented by attentive and friendly staff. The restaurant's commitment to exceptional service enhances the overall dining experience that makes each visit memorable. Yes, we have dined multiple times here.
It's best to keep in mind that this venue is a sports club, events venue and more so it doesn't necessarily have that personal touch in design that you will find at a smaller dedicated restaurant, cafe or pub.

From the exterior you are welcomed to a somewhat unique building. It's always nice to visit somewhere a bit different although too be honest this distinctiveness does really extend to the interior. Still for a first time visitor it does make an impression.

Italian Heritage: Given it's called the Italian Sports Club Werribee it is no surprise that the menu has an extensive offering of Italian food although the menu is also modern contempory Australian so it also has great variety.

Menu: The menu showcases a variety of delectable options, from classic Italian favorites like veal scallopini to contemporary dishes such as the Mediterranean chicken breast. Each plate is meticulously prepared, reflecting the culinary team's dedication to quality and authenticity.

There is a super extensive range of risotto's and pasta ranging from beef lasagne, tortellini bolognese, penne carbonara, gnudi, spaghetti marinara, creamy garlic prawn fettucine, chilli prawn napoli spaghetti and chicken and mediterranean vegetable risotto.

Other offerings include minestrone soup, baked dory, beer battered flathead and chips, arancini and olives, salt and pepper squid, pan fried saganaki with olives, roast of the day, melanzane stack, soup of the day, open steak sandwhich, bbq pork ribs, parmigiana, maple and mustard marinated pork cutlet and more.

Specials: The Italian Sports Club Werribee also have a forever changing range of weekly specials. This is great for returning customers. Last time out we had the crab parpardelle! They also change out the desserts as well!

The club's dedication to community engagement is evident through its support of local sports teams and hosting of various social events. This commitment fosters a sense of camaraderie and belonging among patrons.

Events and shows: The events and shows are great for people living locally who don't want to venture to Melbourne CBD for some entertainment. From live concerts, special events for things such as Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Australia Day, Valentines, St Patricks's Day, comedians, quiz nights and more. It pays to check whats on at the Italian Sports Club Werribee so you don't miss out.

Value: Although we don't like to measure the quality of a place based on price we are happy to say that the Italian Sports Club Werribee has very fair pricing. If you are cost conscious, enjoy value for money or value large servings (compared to CBD Melbourne) then this could definitely be the place for you.
Repeat customers: We are happy to be multiple repeat customers as we really enjoy the value proposition of the Italian Sports Club Werribee.

Location
From Werribee: Italian Sports Club Werribee is an approximate 12 minute drive from Werribee located at 601 Heaths Rd, Werribee VIC 3030.
From Williams Landing: Italian Sports Club Werribee is an approximate 21 minute drive from Williams Landing.
From Tarneit: Italian Sports Club Werribee is an approximate 10 minute drive from Tarneit.
In A Nutshell
The Italian Sports Club Werribee comes as highly recommended for local diners around Werribee, Tarneit, Hoppers Crossing, Manor Lakes and Wyndham Vale. It's good to have somewhere locally to dine out that is worthy of becoming a regular.
It's also nice having a dining venue outside of Watton St in Werribee or Pacific Werribee Mall as a place to visit.
With its incredibly wide selection of Italian and classic Australian pub food, great value for money, ever changing weekly specials and fantastic customer service we are happy to forgive its semi dowdy or casino like interior design.

Werribee Restaurant and Cafe Review

The Social Sutra
Social Sutra is an attractive looking cafe although perhaps is a bit generic. However its great and extensive menu, budget friendly pricing, alcoholic beverage selection and food quality make this a highly recommended cafe. The biggest letdown may be its lack of vibe if that is important to you.

Wolf On Watton
Wolf On Watton is a trendy and attractive looking cafe. The super-extensive alcoholic drinks selection plus the outside booths are what make Wolf on Watton unique. It's not our favourite cafe but never the less its still a great addition to the Watton high street.

Gami Chicken and Beer
Gami Chicken and Beer is workmanlike Korean food. It's great to have Korean fried chicken available locally and it sure beats making it yourself. Gami Chicken and Beer is nicely setup and has relatively unique decor inside however overall the food is average rather than exceptional. For a franchise business though everythings good.

Mama Mee
Mama Mee is one of our all time favourite restaurants in the outer west. It serves an all time great seafood curry laksa, has an extensive Malaysia and Chinese themed menu, includes some of the best decor and has generally some of the best service going round. Highly recommended if you live in Hoopers Crossing, Werribee, Wyndham Vale or Tarneit.

Sprinkles
Sprinkles is a multi-coloured rainbow in a world of turmoil. Treat yourself to the delights of ice-creams, lollies, sweets and treats at Sprinkles and brighten up your day. Highly recommended.

Indo Eats
Indo Eats is a workmanlike Indonesian restaurant in Werribee. It fulfils its mandate for this kind of restaurant. They have a huge selection of food and drinks to choose from, have made an effort both with its interior and the presentation of their drinks and generally the food is pretty good without being exceptional.

Sushi Jiro
Sushi Jiro is an attractive looking Japanese diner and takeaway. It's a great place to enjoy with friends, select your favourites dishes and experience a sushi train experience in the outer western suburbs. I wouldn't say the food is exceptional but its definitely worth coming here purely for the sushi train and it looks kinda cool as well.

Mama Lor
Mama Lor is one of the best restaurants in Werribee. From great modern distinctive interior design, an extensive selection of unique and great tasting Filipino cuisine, to freshly baked cakes and breads and a great vibe as they continue to be one of the busiest restaurants in Werribee, Mama Lor is definitely recommended.

Café B2B Barista to Barista
Nice urban vibes, a modern café brunch menu and gernally outstanding quality makes B2B a great place to get your caffeine fix and weekend brunch.

The Bridge Hotel
The Bridge Hotel is great for what it is. It has a large outside drinking area for those inclined (perrect for balmy nights and afternoons), very fair pricing and it provides exactly the experience you expect in the tradition of great Australian pubs.

Ghazal
Buffets are an acquired taste. Anyway, Ghazal is definitely worth it if you love buffets but for the rest of us Ghazal is probably pleasant enough without feeling overly special.

Perfect place for a lovely gelati when the Melbourne weather obliges.

Little Growling Café
Little Growling Cafe may not appear to be the most trendy cafe going around. However the food is very well presented and looks special on the plate, the food tastes great, it's popular so there is a bit of a vibe (at least in the weekends) and it has a super duper playground for the kids. While really for locals if you live close enough, are looking for somewhere new to eat and have children this may be worth a look.
