Back Alley Sally's bar and restaurant has a cool hipstery vibe. Back Alley Sally's specialises in pizza and pasta and is a perfect place to relax, have a yarn and break away from everyday life.

Back Alley Sally's is slightly off the beaten track but is easily accessible and worth the effort to check out even for just a drink at the bar. Back Alley Sally's has a nice industrial vibe and perfect for small groups with the nice booths to sit in.

You can tell that Back Alley Sally's has placed an emphasis on it's interior design. It's just kinda a cool kind of place. I have to admit the men's toilet could probably be updated slightly but it is definitely in theme. Overall I think Back Alley Sally's fit out is a standout.

Back Alley Sally's has a weekly schedule of special themed nights. These include a parma night, pizza night, trivia night, 2 for 1 cocktails and a special Sunday deal. The schedule may change so check their website for the most up to date information.

While Back Alley Sally's specialises in pizza and pasta they still manage to have an extensive range of food ranging from shared platters (both meat or vegan), chicken ceasar salad, vegan ceasar salad, rocket parmesan walnut salad, nachos and a range of desserts.

Back Alley Sally's is upstairs so you may have to make a small effort to find it. I'd been to the nearby market multiple times but never made it to Back Alley Sally's.

Moon Dog Wild West
Moon Dog Brewery meets the wild west. Giant cacti, ride the bull arena, Mexican and western pub food, three level venue. Eccentric, loud, vibrant and making a statement in the West. Highly recommended if you love your pubs.

Huu Huu Thanh
It goes without saying that we highly recommend Huu Huu Thanh. A full and complete Vietnamese menu, a down to earth yet still decorative restaurant environment, fantastic flavoured food and a pumping vibrant atmosphere. Hawker styled food done fantastically.

First Taste
First Taste restaurant is an adequate Cantonese styled restaurant. It's former claim to fame was it's specialty Cantonese soups that maintained an authentic flavour that tasted great. I am hoping they can return to their former glory days again.

Mami Ko
It's great to have a Filipino restaurant in Footscray but it just wasn't our cup of tea. Still if you crave some Filipino food this might fill the spot for you.

T. Cavallaro & Sons Pasticceria
T Cavallaro and Sons Pasticceria offers a view to a long gone Italian heritage in the heart of Footscray. Definitely worth a visit to consider buying some Italian coffee equipment or trying the ricotta cannoli from a recipe over 150 years old!

Sapa Hills has stood the test of time. Still a trendy looking restaurant in Footscray it continues to deliver.

Hong Kong BBQ
The Hong Kong BBQ restaurant has gone from all time favourite to okay. Hong Kong BBQ has drastically reduced its menu to only BBQ'd Chinese food now. So yes you can continue to enjoy your favourite roast duck or roast pork but sadly the reduced menu is a bit of a let down. Still, if you love your roast duck it is perfect as a takeaway treat or you can still eat it there.
