Olives To Oil (Newport) 11 May and 18 May 11AM-3PM at Newport Community Hub, 13/15 Mason St, Newport 3015. Olives to Oil is an annual event bringing people together to harvest olives and have them pressed communally into delicious, local olive oil. Participants drop off olives harvested from home garden or street trees, and return to collect a share of the oil at the Festival on Sunday 1 June. B-24 Liberator Memorial Museum (Werribee), open Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday's 9:30AM - 3:30PM located cnr Princes Hwy & Farm Rd, Werribee Vic 3030. Learn about some of Australia's unique aviation history. The B-24 is the only remaining Liberator in the Southern Hemisphere and is one of only eight still existent in the world. This intricate restoration work is proceeding in one of the impressive World War II hangars on the old Werribee airfield.
