Taradale Mineral Springs Festival Victoria Australia
The Taradale Mineral Springs Festival in Victoria Australia is one of those classic regional events that makes you fall back in love with country Victoria all over again. Held in the charming township of Taradale in Central Victoria, this vibrant community celebration brings together local food, wine, music and artisan makers in the most relaxed and family friendly way.
As a mid forties mum of two with a Labrador named Tommy, I adore festivals where the kids can run free, the music is uplifting and I can enjoy a glass of local wine while soaking up that fresh country air. It truly captures everything we love about exploring beyond West Melbourne.
There's plenty going on to keep you and your loved ones entertained and full of smiles.

Family Friendly Fun at Taradale Mineral Springs
Set against the beautiful mineral springs reserve, expect a great festival atmosphere welcoming from the moment you arrive. There are market stalls brimming with handmade goods, local produce and sweet treats that keep little hands busy and happy.
Kids excitement: My eight and ten year old would beeline straight for the food vans while I take a slower wander, chatting to stallholders and discovering new regional gems. It reminds me of those joyful communal experiences at concerts where the crowd energy builds, like when an unexpected 1990s anthem fills the room and everyone is smiling together. There is something special about a small town turning on a big hearted event.
Live Music and Local Flavours in Central Victoria
One of the highlights of the Taradale Mineral Springs Festival is the live music program. Talented local musicians will create a boistrous soundtrack that drifts across the lawns, encouraging you to kick back on a picnic rug and simply be present. Pair that with regional wines, craft beverages and delicious country fare and you have a recipe for a day well spent.
