The Lake Side Alive Festival in Caroline Springs is a vibrant celebration of community, art, and entertainment, beautifully situated by the picturesque Lake Caroline that is the heart of this bustling suburb. This annual event has quickly become a highlight for residents and visitors alike, offering a plethora of activities, performances, and experiences suitable for all ages and particularly the young ones.
The Lake Side Alive Festival is a multiple location event with festival spots dotted around the town centre side of Lake Caroline. Being multi-location does help the festival from being overcrowded but perhaps makes the festival a bit disjointed.
It does make you wander around the lake though so that it is a good point particulary when the weather is great.
There was a continual parade of live musical performances to keep punters entertained and the seating area was nicely setup with a semi-rustic almost country like way. Anyway, quite a cool setup and it seems well organised and planned as the seating seemed to match crowd numbers pretty much perfectly
Live Music: Expect a variety of musical performances. Perfect with a nicely laidback vibe, family friendly and just generally chilled out. There are trees on the left side of the viewing area for those who want to get out of the sun.
Roaming Performers: Roaming performers will make the rounds. They can be a real hit and of course in our modern age everyone wants a selfie. Anyway, they provide immediate and easy entertainment and help keep people happy and excited.
Kids really just love bubbles so while hardly an innovation they are such a crowd pleaser. It was also nice to see adults equally excited by the bubble entertainer.
Car Show: The Lakeside Alive Festival definitely tries to be all things to all people. A bit of a challenge and probably unachievable. Anyway in a nod to this crowd pleasing side of the organisers there is even a car show. It is what it is and depending on your personal interests will put a smile on your face.
Dog owners are especially catered for with a special Puppy Pit Stop. Also great for another seflie while you are there.
Dance Performances: Expect a real treat with live dance performers that are sure to pull in the crowds. Okay, parents probably make up a fair share of spectators but I know the expectation and excitement of parents, kids and the general public will be high. The dancers will definitely got the crowd going and it sure gets the children spectators very into it.
With dance performances covering multiple age groups and spectators being quite vocal there will definitely be a cool vibe generated.

In A Nutshell
The Lakeside Alive Festival in Caroline Springs is a great family friendly events sure to bring a smile on your face and especially the kids. With a lovely summer day the festival was a real hit and I really enjoyed it.
The Lakeside Alive Festival is a bit low key compared to several of the Lunar New Year Festivals that have been going on throughout the western suburbs. It probably just needs more and more years on the clock to get the crowds more involved and build up its awareness. But even as it is its still a great festival and especially great for those with young families.
