The moment we arrived at St Anne’s Winery, I knew this was going to be one of those days you remember long after the last sip of wine. What I absolutely loved was the relaxed country atmosphere. You are not rushed. You can take your time, enjoy a tasting, grab something delicious to eat and simply soak it all in. It reminded me why winery events are such a gamechanger for families. There is something for everyone.
As someone who is usually the designated driver, I always appreciate events like this where you can pace yourself, enjoy the food and still feel part of the experience. A grazing plate and a glass of red while listening to live music felt just right.
The classic cars were a real highlight. From vintage beauties to polished showpieces, it felt like stepping back in time. Even my kids were fascinated which is always a win. It sparked conversations, stories and a few laughs along the way.
One of my favourite parts of any winery visit is chatting with the people behind the wines. It is never just about drinking wine. It is about connection, learning something new and creating memories that come back every time you open that bottle at home.
