Olives to Oil is an annual event run by CERES, where the community comes together to harvest olives and have them pressed into delicious, local olive oil.
Community Spirit: While this program focuses on olives, its true essence is about fostering community and creating a sense of connection. Help Ceres spread this feeling by sharing your story on social media by tagging @ceresbrunswick or using #ceresolivestooil, or by emailing your stories directly to Ceres at comms@ceres.org.au.
Education: You will have the opportunity to view a working olive press and even taste some olive literally made seconds ago!
Take the time to learn as much as possible about all things olive, creating a habitat for local wildlife, managing weeds, looking after fruit trees and more.
Entertainment: Enjoy live music and dancing, savor delicious food, and explore stalls offering a variety of gardening products.
