As a local community market the Firefly Night Market is very well attended. It is great to see the community really come out to play, support local stall holders and have fun in their local backyard.
All credit to the local authorities for really stepping up and helping to support the local Tarneit community by holding this recurring event.
A number of stalls and food trucks are set up in the park grounds. As is standard in most markets you'll find items for sale such as candles, clothes, plants, giftcards, ear-rings, crafts, soft toys, pet products, cosmetics, homeware and lots more.
Being in Tarneit the live entertainment is truly multiculural. The diversity of the local community is really showcased and the crowd will really get into it.
Depending on each market you may find live music and I particularly enjoyed the evening when they put on a dog show. They are up for community suggestions as to activities that go well with the market so who knows what they'll come up with next!
